The World's Best Spinner Baits?
Absolutely. Here are the reasons why:
Color
The colors found on most commercial lures are designed to catch fishermen,
not fish! We stepped back to consider what really
triggers a bass to strike: sight and instinct. A
successful spinner bait has to resemble something that a bass can see
and wants to eat, or in some cases destroy. Game
fish, particularly bass, tend to be attracted to bright and flashy lures.
Several years ago, lure manufacturers started making
lures in more "life-life" colors. The
problem? The lures were so life-like, fish couldn't
even see them! Simply put, they don't work.
Our spinner baits use only Dupont
materials with iridescent Mylar strands, for maximum highlight effect.
This materials combination gives the greatest reflectivity
and color retention under all water conditions. It
is better than anything else we have found, and it doesn't degrade or
mat together in warm of cold water, as is commonly found with silicone
skirting.
Vibration
If a blade doesn't meet our standards for maximum vibration and visibility,
we won't use it. Our blades are all polished prior
to any plating application, which may be gold (24kt), silver, or black
(black-chrome). This method results in increased
vibration, and improved visibility in the water.
Performance
Every TWBSB spinner bait uses SAMPO
ball bearing swivels. Many lure manufacturers use
imported ball bearing swivels, but they do not meet the standards of quality
found in American-made SAMPO swivels.
Finish
Our process demands that we use polyamide epoxy coatings to prevent
chipping and enhance the durability of our product.
Quality
Each spinner bait goes through rigorous quality assurance testing before
it leaves our facility. The lure must pass strict
standards before it is made available for purchase. Our
rejects are not sold-off at "flea markets" - they are destroyed.
